College Grants Participants must hold a PhD in Sociology or a related discipline, which is not more than three years at the date of the end application.
-Time on leave, sick leave or military service will not be counted against the limit of three years.
-Applicants who have previously held a postdoctoral fellowship of the same or a related field at Umeå University are not eligible.

Working as a Post-doctoral fellow is limited to two years. We expect the holders of Post-doctoral fellowship to conduct research in the study "Welfare research" strong environment (see attached research program). College Grants work may include teaching, but for a maximum of 20% of work time.
